Editorial Policy
In the Prospectus Issue of The Expository Review, December,
1981, Bob McDonald wrote the following under the heading "Open
Door Policy."
"Truth has nothing to fear from an open, free examination
of religious issues. This has always been the feeling of
this editor and the publisher (Robert McDonald and Robert Craig,
bgg). For this reason, your articles, expressing convictions
which you feel need to be examined, are invited."
Our current policy will be somewhat more restrictive.
I will solicit articles from men of my acquaintance during the
first few months of this site's full operation. I will
reprint, with permission, several articles from past issues of
the magazine when it was produced by brethren Craig and McDonald.
Unsolicited articles will be considered and may or may not be
published. The decision to publish or not will be at my
sole discretion.
I will not necessarily respond to everything published in
this paper with which I disagree. Obviously, some differences
between my and someone else's interpretation of a text may occur.
I will use my judgment and discretion to determine a course of
action. Should I receive a response to an article which
I have not written, I will confer with the original author and
an appropriate course of action will be determined.
I will accept no article which does not demonstrate clarity,
integrity, charity, honor and an overall attitude befitting a
Christian. Again, this will be at my sole discretion
but I believe that you will find me reasonable in this area.
This policy may seem restrictive, possibly even unreasonable
to some. The policy may change over time. Thank you.
